The ╫Mission Control control panel goes in the Control Panels Folder and the application can go anywhere you like, though we do recommend that you put it or an alias of it in your Startup Items folder.
About UltraLaunch
╩
Thank you for downloading JEM Software╒s UltraLaunch, MacUser's Utility of the Month. We hope you enjoy the program and find it useful.
UltraLaunch allows you to schedule times and assign hot keys to launch any application or open any document or desk accessory, thereby giving them one-touch (or even no-touch) access. Creating hot keys for your most common tools and utilities can provide both freedom and responsiveness -- you don't even need to switch to the Finder to launch an application or load a document. UltraLaunch can automatically fire up all the applications and documents that make up your regular work environment, all before you sit down with that first cup of coffee each morning. UltraLaunch even supports repeating weekly schedules.
UltraLaunch is part of JEM's highly regarded Online Army Knife package. Initially released in December of 1996, OAK has been consistently reviewed as a best of breed or "must-have" set of integrated utilities featuring the fastest and smartest universal spellchecker on the Macintosh. Detailed specifications and a free timed demo are available at the JEM Software web site: <http://www.arielpub.com/jem.html>.
As a MacUser Utility of the Month, UltraLaunch is completely free. Nevertheless, we'd still like to hear from you; we would be very grateful if you would send us e-mail and sign up for our auto-notify list. A couple of times a year we'll let you know when we ship some cool new Mac utility or have a stunning money-saving offer. We've got several of each up our sleeves.
UltraLaunch's Apple Menu includes a Get in Touch with JEM╔ item that can assist you in signing up for our Auto-Notify list. If you'd just as soon do it all manually, send an e-mail to:
<jemsoftware@macconnect.com>
and put "JEM Auto-Notify" in the subject line. If you're feeling friendly, go ahead and put your real name in the body of the letter (it is not required).
For those who might be interested in reading about Online Army Knife but don't want to wade out onto the Web right at the moment, we've included a press release for you to peruse. We hope the info piques your interest. To get started with UltraLaunch, read the UltraLaunch Docs file.
